The Stowaways Fan Area Goes Live!!
For a while now, we've wanted a better way of providing our fans and listeners, a decent way of being able to get hold of our tracks for free, copies of flyers for past/present gigs, and somewhere where they can drop us a comment, as well as get hold of truly "fan exclusive" stuff.
Well it's here, the Stowaways Fan Area goes live!!! You can now properly sign-up to our site, login to our fan area and access fan only content. We've still got work to do, so please bare with us while it grows. From here-on-in, all our tracks will be available for free download through here, including our new EP, two tracks of which will be going live for FREE DOWNLOAD next week!
The biggest change, is the move of our mailing list. As you may well have noticed, we haven't sent many mail outs the past couple of months, mainly because it was never easy to do with ReverbNation. Soooooo, from now, all the mailing list will be coming to all our FanArea members.
Don't worry, everyone that has already signed up will automatically be added to our new list, and you'll be receiving an email to let ya know once it's been fully moved over. Feel free to sign up in the mean time if ya like though.
FEVER IS AVAILABLE FOR FREE IN A NEW HIGH QUALITY MP3 DOWNLOAD. Now we don't have to worry about space requirements, Fever is available for download in 320 kbps along with the artwork.
We hope you like the new area, and if you've got any suggestions or additions you'd like to see, pleaaaase let us know.
We will soon hopefully have Facebook integration meaning you'll automatically be signed in whenever your on facebook, and can easily post updates etc straight to your profile.

This Is Massive! We’re On FHM.com
Sooo, you could say we're a little bit excited!! The Stowaways have had one of their songs "Fever" published on FHM.com to the video of this month's Cover Girl Danica. It's pretty easy to get caught up in the gorgeous lingerie clad photoshoot, definately worth checking out: http://www.fhm.com/girls/meet-danica-this-months-upgrade-girlfriend-20100805
This was initially shot with the band posing for the photoshoot, amazing what you can do with special effects these days!

The Stowaways Prep For Guernsey Tour ’10
It's lining up to be a pretty crazy week for us! We're playing a great venue tomorrow (tuesday) night, Cafe 1001 in Brick Lane, on stage at 9.30, and then first thing on Wednesday morning, we loading up, packing up and heading off to Gatwick to start our 4 day tour in Guernsey ... Can't Wait!
For anyone that's around, the Cafe 1001 gig is hopefully gonna be great, and it's our last London gig till Sept, as we're taking some time out to write, go on holiday, get all lobstered up in true brit style, and then maybe have a quick moan about how hot it's been ... yep, that much of a cliche. We have got a new song we're trying out tomorrow though, so there's a treat in store for anyone that can make it?
And then, the Guernsey love, 4 nights performing at The Doghouse, 2 acoustic sets and 2 in our full glory. We've rustled together some decent covers as well, as we're gonna be up for about 2 hours each night. Ash hasn't ever been over before, so providing they'll let him through customs & doesn't get thrown out for chatting up the girls at the check-in desk, he's in for a shocker, of just how beautiful the place is, and just how messy you can get on such a small island
Fresh of the press, some special edition CD's for Guernsey. We'll finally be releasing all the new tracks once we're back, and have a few new ones we're working on, so gonna try and get into the studio asap to get them down, and into your finely tuned ears.
So that's it for now, they'll be tweets, video footage and a full on blog once we're back, hopefully see ya at one of the shows x

Gig @ Cafe 1001 (BrickLane) Tuesday 27th July
Heya guys'n'gals,
Leading upto our second gig around Brick Lane this month, on Tuesday 27th July, The Stowaways will be playing at the brilliant Cafe 1001!
For anyone that has never been before, this semi-open air bar located just off Brick Lane has an incredible outdoor BBQ, comfy sofas and a cool venue in the backroom upstairs.
Best of all the night is FREE ENTRY ... yeah that's right another FREE ENTRY night, giving you all the more reason to come on down and chill out in the bear garden before popping in to check out some amazing live music from the 4 bands performing.
Doors are open all day really, the venue opens at 7.30pm and we're on stage at 9.30pm.
This is gonna be our last London gig for a few weeks, so make the most of the beautiful summer sun and get some mid-week drinking on.

Gig @ 93ft East (Brick Lane) This Monday 5th July!!
The haze has passed on our 5 days of sunshine in Glastonbury, we've had a little time away in June, and coming back hard this Monday 5th July!!
That's right gents and gentle-ladies, The Stowaways are taking on 93ft East with both hands, feet and dancing shoes
What is probably best of all however, the night is completely FREE ENTRY! You heard correctly, FREE ENTRY...
Courtesy of our the kind fellows at MusicBorn, we will be hitting the stage at 9.15pm for half an hour toe-tapping pleasure.
The doors open at 7.30pm, and there's loads more music to be had. Seeing as it's free entry and all, why not come down early and chill in the bar with us and listen to the rest of the night's entertainment?
